Year 1 Crafty Christmas
Our Year 1 children had a fantastic time at our Christmas Craft Event, which filled the school hall with creativity, excitement and lots of festive cheer! We were absolutely delighted with the turnout, it was our best yet and it was lovely to welcome so many adults in to join the children and share in the fun. Enzo the Elf Visit
The children had a very special visitor arrive at the school last week. Enzo the Elf arrived bright and early to spend time with every class. Each class had the chance to meet Enzo and play some fun party games keeping active and moving through dance. Enzo was very cheeky and all the children loved meeting him.


The Nutcracker
On Thursday 5 th December, the children in Year 1 and 2 had the pleasure of watching a festive ballet performance. The talented dancers from ‘Let’s All Dance’ performed a wonderful rendition of ‘The Nutcracker’. The children were in awe as the dancers gracefully pirouetted, leapt and spun around the floor, retelling the story of Clara and her magical new Christmas present.
Reading Rocks Workshop – and It Really Did Rock!
What an absolute treat we had at our Year 2 Reading Rocks Workshop this half term! We were thrilled to see so many of our wonderful Year 2 families join us for a cosy, book-filled morning. Top Dodging from Hamstel’s Hitters at the KS1 Tournament
Team Hamstel delivered an outstanding performance at the KS1 Dodgeball Tournament held at Garons Sport Centre. The children had been working incredibly hard in the weeks leading up to the event, even giving up part of their lunchtime to practise and learn the game. Colour Run Success!
What a wonderful day we had at our Colour Run ! The field was bursting with colour, energy, and excitement as the children at Hamstel Infants ran, laughed, and cheered their way through the course. It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces and such great team spirit. Media Team – Operation Welcome back to School!
The Media Team would like to welcome you back to school and to your new classes. We are a brand-new Media Team and we will be interviewing teachers and our friends and writing about what happens at our school during the year. We are now a team of 10! Hamstel Infants hit the ground running!
What a fantastic start to the cross-country season for our KS1 runners! After giving up their lunchtimes to train and prepare, Team Hamstel were ready to take on the challenge of their very first event of the year. Nite Owls swooped in for a flying visit…
On Monday 13th October the Year 2 children at Hamstel Infants were excited to have some special visitors for the morning. Some stunning Owls came to visit and carried out a fantastic display and informative chat with their carers Erika and Olivia from Nite Owls. The children were lucky enough to meet a range of species which included Barn Owls, Scops Owls and an Eagle Owl. Willow, Dotty, Cookie and Monty really stole the show!
