Year 1 Outdoor Learning

Last week, Year 1 discovered something amazing in our Wildlife Area!

Mr. Bailey came across some mysterious footprints and eggs which the children suspect to be from a dinosaur! During their outdoor learning day, the children continued their hunt for any dinosaurs that may still be lurking in the bushes!

We also began looking at the seasons, recognising the changes currently happening around us as we head into Autumn. The children loved Mr. Bailey’s tour around the Wildlife Area where we spotted berries, rose hips and even apples growing on the trees. Some children noticed that our Maple tree is already starting to lose some of its leaves. The children then began to predict what other changes we might see in our next outdoor learning day.
