Tag Rugby Friendly

On Tuesday 6th April, our tag rugby club hosted a friendly game against a team of children from West Leigh Infant School.

The weather was perfect for the event. We used the session as a teaching and learning opportunity for both teams as there are a lot of rules for the children to take on board.

The teams listened well to the instructions and both teams improved their performances throughout the games, it was great to see the progression. During the games there were some brilliant skills on show making the game very interesting. There were some very speedy runners on both sides which led to some exciting tries being scored and many tags being caught by defenders. The games finished with a lot of tries made and a lot of smiles for both teams.

We are all looking forward to the Tag Rugby Competition taking place on Wednesday 4th May and will let you know how our team get on.
