Parents join our Outdoor Learning

This week, we were delighted to invite the parents of our Year 1 children to join us for our Outdoor Learning sessions. It was wonderful to see so many families enjoying time together exploring our outdoor learning area and experiencing first-hand the exciting opportunities our children enjoy each week.

Parents visited the bug hotel, spent time relaxing and playing in the den and mud kitchen, and explored the pond area searching for newts. Children were excited to show their families the Hobbit Hut. They enjoyed making potions and using their imaginations in creative play. There was also plenty of excitement as families searched for minibeasts using magnifying glasses and discovered the many tiny creatures living in our outdoor environment.

The sessions were full of curiosity, exploration and teamwork, and it was lovely to see the children confidently sharing their learning with their parents. Thank you to all the families who joined us and helped make the sessions such a success.
