Our children have access to Dilly’s Den, our sensory garden. This is a safe place, where children can play with a range of specially selected sensory resources including, colourful objects, a small climbing frame, a sand pit large enough for the children to get in, musical instruments and many different textures to experience and explore. The children visited a local garden nursery to choose for themselves a variety of plants which they have planted to provide various smells and sounds as they rustle in the wind.
